Comfort Carers is a business run from home in Cape Town and has been up and running since 2009.
Gillian Burns is the owner of Comfort Carers and enjoys working with people and especially the elderly and in helping them in times of need. Gillian completed her Home Health Care Course where she gained a lot of knowledge.
Gillian had an early start to life for the love of the elderly from the age of 7 years where she went with her mom (who was the resident hairdresser) who worked at a ladies retirement home and there she mingled and visited with the elderly in their rooms and frail care. “The elderly loved being with me and sharing their times with me in their loneliness.”
