Dear Comfort Care Team,

I am pleased you have asked me to review your service and do so with many thanks for all you have done over a long period of time.

I was referred to Comfort Care by my mom's long-standing Doctor in Ballito, Health Matters. Within hours, I was able to review a short list and shortly thereafter meet with Brenda along with her recommended caregiver. We were very fortunate to be introduced to a wonderful caregiver who has been looking after my 86-year-old mother for almost 2 years.

My mom is still with the same carer, and she has been an absolute treasure. She is 100% reliable and attends to many things—from caring, making and attending all medical appointments, shopping, housework, medication, taking deliveries, buying gifts—the list is difficult to put into words because having the right caregiver is like having a new family member. I will add that this is not an easy job with many challenging aspects.

My mom's carer is my eyes and ears in my absence and looks after my mom’s medical and personal needs with meticulous detail. I get a daily screen-snap of her written report, which is recorded in a ledger of everything that was done each day—medication taken, observations, showers, walks—just about anything relevant is there so I know how the day went.

I live overseas and would not have the peace of mind I do without the Comfort Care Team.

Brenda and Cheryl are always on standby to assist or arrange ‘stand-in caring’ in advance when needed. Our arrangement has been a great success, which has adapted and continues to change according to my mom’s needs.

I would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Care and remain a client with them indefinitely. I hope others are as fortunate as we are to find the right care for parents in their time of need.
